Apologetics for Beginners

Event: Apologetics for Beginners

Description:

Apologetics is not what you think (necessarily). There is thought involved to be sure, but it is so much more than that. And it doesn’t have to be intimidating. In many ways, you are already an apologist. You have a story to tell—one that God has given to you. God allows us the honor and privilege of participating with Him as part of His grand plan for the world and everyone in it by helping others find Him, and in many ways doing the work of the apologist: to help others remove barriers they may have to finding their faith. You’re not an apologist to “throw down” a fait accompli answer. This isn’t about winning arguments. The work of the apologist is to help others remove barriers they may have to finding their faith. And the better apologists have the heart of an evangelist. They don’t answer questions. They answer questioners.
